Oculoos began with a vision to empower EyeCare Professionals and their office staff by providing them with an integrated platform that brings together a comprehensive set of tools and resources. With the aim of fostering professional connections, facilitating knowledge exchange, and enhancing career opportunities, they set out to redefine networking in the EyeCare industry.
The challenge at hand for Kirana Labs was to create a mobile application that would effectively unite Ophthalmologists, Optometrists, and Opticians while adhering to strict HIPAA compliance for sharing medical information. We needed to address the unique needs of EyeCare Professionals and provide them with a secure platform to access Job Opportunities, Referral Tools, Nearby Eyecare Events, and essential Eyecare tools and news. Additionally, incorporating a Fax API that met HIPAA requirements to facilitate the secure transmission of sensitive medical data posed a significant challenge.
Oculoos was born from a partnership with visionary co-founders who aimed to revolutionize EyeCare networking. Through in-depth market research and close collaboration with industry experts, we meticulously designed the Oculoos mobile app to tackle the challenges head-on.
To unite EyeCare Professionals, we developed a user-friendly interface with intuitive navigation, ensuring easy access to the app’s comprehensive suite of features. EyeCare Professionals could now effortlessly browse through Job Opportunities tailored to their specialties, utilize Referral Tools to enhance collaboration, and stay informed about Nearby Eyecare Events to expand their knowledge and professional network.
