Industry:
Through years of selling auto parts through traditional marketplaces (Mercado Libre, Amazon, eBay) autopartes.net co-founders identified an opportunity to create a space dedicated exclusively to auto parts vendors and buyers. Autopartes.net was born to become the best alternative for selling and buying auto parts in Mexico and in Latin America.
After initially developing iterations with CMS platforms, the company’s co-founder decided to create a custom platform to fully meet the product’s vision.
At first, Kirana Labs collaborated with the company’s founders with USM (User Story Mapping) methodologies to define the desired user’s journey through the platform and obtain technical requirements for the project. A project manager was assigned to the project to lead software teams (UX/UI, Front-end Development, Back-end development, QA testing, and Data Analytics) using SCRUM methodologies. A web custom platform and two mobile applications were successfully launched for vendors and buyers.
